Local businesses support each other. Sales taxes come home to work. The taxes collected by a local business support our schools, social services, and public agencies.
For every $100 a shopper spends with a local business, $68 goes back into the local economy. For every $100 spent at a chain, only $43 is retained locally, mostly in the form of wages. Your shopping decision really can make a difference.
