One of the neatest things about working in the bookstore is new books. Just like last week we met with a publisher salesperson today - this time Simon and Schuster. They have the newest book by Don Delillo. I don't know if it's any good or not, but some consider him one of our best living writers. I haven't been crazy about everything I've read by him, but WHITE NOISE was great. Anyway, it's fun to be excited about new books, and he brought me an advance copy.
