Katherine Taylor’s combination memoir and novel, The Rules for Saying Goodbye, hit the spot this summer when I needed to escape into a light book beside the pool. The book primarily focuses on Katherine’s struggle to find herself through her twenties and early thirties, as she balances her friends, family, fun, writing, dates and even mixes in a little work on the side. I couldn’t have enjoyed reading this well written and fun book by Pushcart prize winning writer, Katherine Taylor. - Caroline Morrison
