On Sunday, June 3, 2007 MHRA will host "Chefs of Mississippi" Awards Gala at the Mississippi TelCom Center in Jackson, MS. The Awards Gala will feature "by invitation only" the brightest and the best chef's from around the entire state. These culinary stars will present a dish of their choice to celebrity judges and a crowd of hospitality well wishers for purses and acclaim. At this grand event the MHRA will also be recognizing the recipients of our annual "Best of" awards, including the much - coveted MHRA Restaurateur of the Year Award. These award recipients are being spotlighted for leadership, innovations, perseverance and commitment to excellence in their fields. Profits from the state-wide ticket sales will benefit the MHRA Education Foundation, which assists students seeking education in the Culinary and Hospitality fields.
